Preparation Cook - Flour Bakery + Cafe - South End - 1595 Washington Street, Boston, MA

If so, we have the opportunity for you! Flour Bakery + Cafe is now hiring for a full-time Prep staff position. The Prep position requires flexible availability and will report directly to the Kitchen Manager but will also be given direction from other location managers.

The schedule needed for this position is: Tuesday - Saturday from 5:45am - 1:45pm.

Day-to-Day Performance Expectations:

Execute prep list as written by KM or lead prep.
Note the order in which tasks are to be completed.
Provide support for coworkers in order to ensure prep is being done efficiently.
Follow all recipes and techniques in food preparation.
Be another set of eyes on product/Mom test
Provide constructive feedback for the staff
Handle food and clean stations per standard sanitation procedures.
Assist with kitchen upkeep and deep cleaning tasks when production list is complete
Help maintain an orderly and clean kitchen

Compensation:

The starting wage for this position is $15.50 - $17.50 per hour ($15.50 per hour + a shared percentage of the sales known as the BOH appreciation, which on average adds around $2 per hour).
